Qthis evening at 9.30pm on Rai 1 the new season of From the street to the stage, the talent show – now in its fourth edition – dedicated to buskersthat is, the street artists, ready to go on stage to perform each in their discipline. The host, alongside the now historic host Nek, will be Bianca Guaccero, fresh winner of Dancing with the stars. They will take us on an exciting journey in five episodes into the world of street artists, through their extraordinary stories, to discover their talent and passion.

Format created by Carlo Conti, From the street to the stage features many street artists ready to get involved each with its own specialty. Musicians and jugglers, mimes, clowns or fire eaters: in every episode, 12 contestants perform and the two with the most votes will go to the final together with the artist chosen by the VIP guestsor the “important passers-by”, who will also interact with the competitors, enriching the variety of moments of the show.
The participants perform to win over the audience and the jury but also to introduce viewers to the ancient and noble street art. In fact, each competitor will have the opportunity to tell your story, thus providing moments of intensity and emotion. During the last episode then, the Best Street Artist will be decided adding the votes of the public to those of “important passers-by”. The winner will win a hat containing 10,000 euros in gold tokens.
As the site reports AskaNewsin the press conference presenting the program, Nek explained: «They are artists to whom I have the deepest respect. First of all because they are free people, free in their choices. Until three years ago, I didn’t know their world: on the contrary, I thought that those who perform on the street are taking their last chance. But no. They are people who have made a very specific choice, far from the logic of show business».
