Let’s Celebrate! There is a great desire to celebrate, people want to go out and be together. Despite many challenges, or precisely because of them, the desire for beautiful moments is omnipresent. L.CREDI is also celebrating a big anniversary in 2023. The look back at 70 years of company history awakens nostalgia and combines retro and modern in the new L.CREDI collection.

The new AW 2023-24 collection shows a wonderfully wide variety of colors, reflecting the journey from the past to the future. In addition to retro-modern colors such as moss and sea buckthorn, the colors hot pink and purple are reminiscent of the progressive era of the 80s and 90s, whose influences are decisive for today’s fashion. Sapphire, rouge and brown also complement the color palette and create a great transition into the cooler months thanks to their slightly darker appearance. Black and putty combine the past, present and future – they are timeless and can be combined with all colors, with black again clearly appearing as the main color alongside navy. Futuristic accents are set with exciting metallics.

A journey through time with L.CREDI for the 70th anniversary. The new collection combines a look into the past with contemporary trends and futuristic details. In addition to an exciting color palette, great materials also play a major role. Animal looks are shown in a wide variety of facets. In addition to crocodile embossing and snake prints, fake fur bags are an absolute must-have this season. In contrast, metallic and glitter materials radiate in competition and can be combined casually in the form of bags, as well as for an elegant evening look in the form of clutches or mini bags. These small bag shapes can be perfectly complemented by matching card cases and small purses. Quilting in different variants brings structure to the collection and is shown in a soft and modern way as well as in a classically elegant way. Monochrome looks ensure calm and timelessness, while exciting checked patterns skillfully combine retro and modern and make the autumn outfit an eye-catcher as a tote bag or saddle bag. The revival of the bowling bag rounds off the journey through time and is reinterpreted in great variants. Especially in the current logo print, it is an absolute highlight.

Background to the company

Since 1953, the L.CREDI Munich brand has represented accessories that combine tradition and innovation, timeless classics and modern zeitgeist in an exclusive way. The name L.CREDI Munich stands for the highest standards in design, material and processing quality as well as for binding values ​​and lived visions. A congenial combination of Italian design, German precision, Munich tradition and a love of fashion.

L.CREDI was founded by Hanns Peugler in 1953 and initially sold high-quality leather handicrafts, bags and small leather goods from Offenbach. When his son Claus Peugler joined the company in 1973, the path led from Offenbach to Italy, the European fashion heart that was already pulsating at the time. The L.CREDI brand grew up, whose name was inspired by Lorenzo di Credi, an Italian artist. To this day, the congenial connections to art and design are an integral part of the brainstorming in the development of the collection and part of the collection is still made in Italy. With the arrival of Claudia Peugler, daughter of Claus Peugler, the focus was on extravagant, feminine lines from 2003. To this day, the three generations have shaped the history of the brand, whose credo “Quality from a master hand inspired by Italian elegance and Munich charm” is lived out at all levels. In 2021, Florian Strassmeier, who has been with the company for over 19 years, joined company owner Claus Peugler and has been managing the company ever since.

L.CREDI has two main collections per year plus a comprehensive stock range. L.CREDI currently has over 400 active customers in German-speaking countries. The collection includes women’s bags, backpacks, purses and phone bags. Retail prices are between EUR 49.99 and EUR 99.99. L.CREDI is sold in stationary retail (including Garhammer, Tretter, Dodenhof), in its own online shop at lcredi.com and, for example, at About You and Zalando.
