From Raphael to Virginia Woolf, from Tina Modotti to the witches. The exhibitions not to be missed

gJulius II and Raphael. A new season of the Renaissance in Bologna is a sumptuous exhibition, born from the loan granted by the National Gallery of the famous Portrait of Pope Julius II della Roverecreated by the Urbino between 1511 and 1512.

The pontiff subjected Bologna to the State of the Churchtriggering profound changes and the artistic “rebirth” of the city with the arrival of Raphael, Michelangelo and Bramante.

The itinerary covers the period from 1475 to 1530opening the dialogue between the works of the Renaissance wing of the Pinacoteca – Parmigianino, Perugino, Francesco Raibolini called il Francia, Boltraffio – and numerous loans.
