You may have tasted indofoods from the satoes, soto ayam or rendang of caterer and pick -up restaurant indofoods. The owners also have Restaurant Saputra on the Croesinkplein in the Palenstein district. But this restaurant is moving.

Indofoods makes Indonesian collection and delivery meals and they take care of the catering at many Zoetermeers festival or at parties at the people’s homes. If you want to eat a night out, you can reserve a table at restaurant Saputra that is in the same building as Indofoods. Now they exchange that tiny restaurant for a building on Cadenzaplein in the Stadshart.

More Tables

According to owner Bas Aartsen and his partner Jeffrey Wener, it’s time for the next step: a larger restaurant with more tables in the center of the city. The new building used to be Korean restaurant Bap Boss. “Our clientele is growing, partly due to our good review of the Golden Pollepel election in the AD,” says Bas. “The concept of Saputra remains the same in the new restaurant, namely enjoying traditional Indonesian dishes such as Zoetermeerders have been used to for years.”

On the menu will soon be the well -known extensive rice tables, saté dishes and sweet desserts. But also the specialties of chef Musa Wignjosaputra. “Our guests come back for the Bebek Betutuor duck breast fillet with Balinese herbs, and the Ayam Pagang Padangthat is chicken fillet with Sumatran sauce. Festive opening

The festive opening of Saputra on the eastwards 21 is planned for mid -September. In the meantime you can simply reserve a table at the location at Rakkersveld 145 in Palenstein.
