The Flemish Employment Service (VDAB) has registered an increasing number of reports of aggression in recent years: from 132 in 2018 to 208 in 2021 – an increase of no less than 58% in just three years. Also in the first half of 2022, 83 cases of aggression were already reported. This is apparent from figures that Flemish Member of Parliament Axel Ronse (N-VA) requested from Minister for Work Jo Brouns (CD&V).
