From furniture to memories: Zeeheldenbuurt in Hoogeveen is cleaning up as demolition approaches

The demolition of 148 social rental homes will start in the Zeeheldenbuurt at the end of 2026. The houses that are there now are poorly insulated. Housing association Actium will build new homes there. The residents who are currently there will have to move.
