Özil now reacted to this rumor, which was recently circulating, in a media round from which “Goal.com” quoted. “We spoke before he came to Turkey, but it is not how partly it was written that I recommended Galatasaray to him,” said the 2014 world champion and confirmed: “He asked about life in Turkey and Istanbul. I said it was a very nice and safe city.”
He also emphasized “that we have incredible food here,” continued Özil. “I said that I would be happy when he came – and then he came. I wish him good luck,” concluded Özil with a view of Sané, the Dfen FC Bayern will leave free of charge.
In general, he explained: “Big names come to Turkey. Football is played here. Hopefully our big clubs will also be successful in Europe.”
At Gala, Sané meets the former Bundesliga professionals Kerem Demirbay, Ahmed Kutucu, Ismail Jakocs and Victor Osimhen as well as other top stars such as Mauro Icardi, Álvaro Morata or Dries Mertens.
Sané signed a three -year contract with the Turkish champion, which brings him guaranteed nine million euros net a year. Due to bonuses, the salary can increase to twelve million euros, even 15 million euros.
