Lost and found. They are usually collected by the municipality. These are often everyday items such as bicycles, wallets or keys. But sometimes it concerns very special things. Below is an overview of the most striking finds in 2024.
Difficult to chew
Sometimes found objects are very ‘freaky’, such as this piece of teeth. Coincidence or not, but it was found around Halloween on the Berlicumseweg near Rosmalen. To this day, the rightful owner has not come to collect his or her teeth. Still difficult to chew during Christmas dinner.

A big knife
Not just any pocket knife, but a large kitchen knife of about thirty centimeters. Found on December 23 around the intersection of Frans Halslaan and Turfberg in Roosendaal. Left behind by a star chef or perhaps someone who had completely different plans for it.

Unknown loss
Sometimes it is just not clear what you find, like this object. It looks like something made of wood with different figures. For example, six stars can be seen on this found object from Den Bosch. Who knows what it is, let me know.

Hookah found
This Hookah, or better known as a water pipe or shisha, was located along the road on the roadside on the Kasteeldijk between Marcharen and the beer brewery in Oijen. A silver hood with an army-like design underneath. A cool little thing that you will miss, you would think.

Crying baby
The owner of this pacifier has a problem. Or perhaps also the parents of the owner, because without this sweetener a baby can become quite noisy. It was found in Breda on the Pastoor Pottersplein.

Mini retro game console
Toys from the past, but given a new look. Although the owner of this red arcade console can now play with it and write on his stomach. The mini game console is from the Silvergear brand. Found in Tilburg and it can also be picked up from the municipality there.

Something Chinese
It looks like some kind of booklet or passport cover from China, the municipality of Eindhoven said. This unknown object was found in the Hoogstraat near the Jumbo.

Old photo
This old photo was on the Balthasar Coymansstraat in Deurne. The black and white photo shows these sworn friends in smart suits. Perhaps it fell out of a photo album during a bike ride in mid-August.
