In 2017, Talisca was the first to be voted Süper Lig professional of the season by the TM community. Six and a half years after his departure from Besiktas in 2018, he is about to return to Istanbul, but to his city rivals. According to consistent media reports, only formalities remain to be clarified before Fenerbahce signs the 30-year-old offensive player on loan from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr FC.
According to transfer reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu The clubs have agreed to split Talisca’s salary for the rest of the season. There is also talk of a purchase option or obligation amounting to around 5 million euros. Fenerbahce vice-president Acun Ilıcalı also announced two more new additions on Turkish television, presumably for the defense. After 16 league games under star coach José Mourinho, the Canaries are already eight points behind arch-rivals and league leaders Galatasaray.

Talisca moved from Guangzhou to Al-Nassr in 2021, where he is under contract until 2026. In 104 competitive games, the Brazilian scored 76 goals and ten assists, but he has so far been denied a title in Riyadh. If they leave, Al-Nassr could sign another foreign professional in January.
Since this season, Saudi clubs have been allowed to register ten international players with the association – the club has currently exhausted the limit. Media in the Arab country recently reported that the possible new signing could be Youssef En-Nesyri (27), whom Fenerbahce only signed from Sevilla FC in the summer.
