Although Verstraete mainly does utility work and public lighting, the team is now fully in Christmas mode. The large warehouse in Jabbeke is still packed with Christmas bears, trains, reindeer and gifts, but not for long. This is the busiest time of the year for the company. “Every year, about twenty extra employees are added between mid-October and mid-December,” says Verstraete.
