Did you ever feel a complete disconnection of the present moment?
Between May and August of this year I lived trapped in a stage of pure chaos. The study seemed overflowing and I felt the same. My head stopped a second: neither in yoga, nor in meditation, nor in the mates with my partner. My mind was full of slopes, deadlines and maturities. Everything translated into stress, adrenaline and total disconnection.
September was different. I decided to implement changes that was postponed for fear. I delegated most of the operational tasks of the study, I ran my focus towards the strategic and sales part, and started trusting my team, training them and giving rise to them. Taking that step, moving from the pressure to trust, caused the weight that I felt on starting to dissipate.
With the clearest mind, I could see myself from another place. I recognized that I am the leader of my team, that I have intuition, ideas and the ability to react quickly when something is not going well. Today we arrive at the maturities in a timely manner, with very few pending things. But beyond the numbers, the most important thing was to recover my calm: enjoy the moment, of good companies and discern where to focus my time and energy.
From August to September I went from chaos to order and understood something fundamental: true leadership is not to load with everything, but decide, delegate, trust; and in this way help my team fulfill their own dreams. The changes I implemented were not only by organization: they were the result of trusting myself, my intuition and in the process, even with fear. That decision allowed me to find the clarity and calm I had lost.
To be able to value and recognize yourself, you first need order. The disorder, both mental and external, hides your own light. Only when we put in order the “outside” we can see each other precisely. Your capacity, your strength and your potential are already there, ready to be used. It is not necessary to look for them outside; You just need to trust what you are.
