After three years, the Experience Center has been completely renovated. Visitors will discover the latest technologies for entertainment, a fully recreated command room and a medical department, with advanced screens, and AI assistance applications for doctors. The showpiece is a brand new 3D screen for which you no longer need glasses.
Medical sector
Inge Govaerts, Barco: “A 3D screen without glasses, that is of course fantastic. We now have two of those devices in our Experience Center and are in the process of rolling them out. We will mainly use this in the medical sector. With the help of those 3D images, doctors can clearly show patients where, for example, a tumor is located and how they will operate on it. This way they can explain much better what is going on and which steps they go into business.”
