COn a call from the theme “And who are you?” Amica this year invited the young Under 35 talents to confront the self -portrait, exploring the profound relationship between fashion and identity in a continuously changing social context. The artists were able to shape their vision through different expressive languages, ranging from painting to photography, from sculpture to video.
To decree the 10 finalist works, among the over 70 presented by artists from all over Italy, an exceptional jury composed Michele Bonu, art historian, curator and director of the monthly art; Mariacristina Ferraioli, curator and art writer; Luisa Fink, director of the World of Women Museum, Rome; Marinella Senator, multidisciplinary artist and president of the jury; Luisa Simonetto, friend of friend, Kathryn Weir, art historian, director of the Madre Museum from 2020 to 2023.
On March 25, the winner was revealed during an evening event at the Levante Dazi in Milan. Here is the story of the evening.
