French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu survived a first vote of no confidence in the National Assembly on Thursday. That motion was submitted by the extreme left-wing La France insoumise (LFI). It was suspected in advance that Lecornu could be in trouble, but he managed to get a majority in parliament behind him on Thursday.
