French fashion association appoints new management

The French fashion association Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has elected a new president. At Friday’s meeting, Bruno Pavlovsky was appointed to the post. Pavlovsky, who is also Fashion President at the French fashion house Chanel, replaces Ralph Toledano, who has held the post since 2014. Toledano remains active in the association as Honorary President. Pascal Morand was confirmed as Executive President.

In addition to the new President, the Supervisory Board and Executive Board were also re-elected for a period of two years. The supervisory board decided that the presidents of the individual areas – haute couture, men’s and women’s fashion – would be represented on the board in the future. The board consists of Pavlovsky and Morand, as well as representatives from the fashion houses Saint Laurent, Isabel Marant, Rick Owens, Hermès and Givenchy.
