Free course places: JuniorCampus of the TH Lübeck inspires girls to program

“Scratch” is a visual programming language that allows students to program small animations and interactive stories. With Scratch, a program is easily put together from small blocks and the end result is your own video game. The students do not need any prior knowledge, as the visual structure of Scratch makes it very easy to realize results while at the same time understanding the basic principles of programming.

Instead of complicated programming instructions, graphic blocks are used – but at the same time the structure is the same as when programming with a programming language. In this way, the students easily learn the logic and structure of programming in the first steps. With this knowledge you are ideally prepared for the advanced courses.

There are still places available for the beginner and advanced courses:

Beginners course: Getting started with Scratch! Dates: February 6th, 2024 and February 7th, 2024 (2 afternoons), 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the number of places is limited!
Advanced course: After the girls have completed the beginners course, it is now time to get to know new applications and tools from Scratch. Dates: February 20th, 2024 and February 21st, 2024 (2 afternoons), 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the number of places is limited!
