German biathlon star fought “for survival”

Franziska Preuß took part in the biathlon World Cup in every possible race. She then noticed the lack of strength in the last competition.

Prussia fought “for survival”. “I got so blatant stomach ache,” said the 30-year-old: “It was no fun.” The pain was gone after she opened her pants, but “it wasn’t nice at all,” she said. It was “just a spice”.
The material no longer fit on Sunday. “The first round, the ski stuck. It was just a fight, it was so blunt,” said the persecution world champion in the ARD.
Overall, Prussia was overjoyed because of her World Cup record. “I take many wonderful moments with me. I won four medals and even a title,” she emphasized.
“If someone had told me beforehand, I would have taken it immediately. It couldn’t go better. I take a lot of positive things with me,” said the successful biathlete.
Since the men with bronze in the season also succeeded in redemption in the season on Saturday, the German biathletes showed an upward trend after more lean years. Five medals meant the best yield in a major event since 2020. The course towards the 2026 Olympics fits, but there are also construction sites. Because the top balance is mainly due to Prussia.
