Of course, it’s never fun if you can’t go to a concert of your favorite pop idol due to ‘circumstances’. Actor Frank Lammers can relate to this: he has to give up his VIP tickets for none other than ‘California Gurl’ Katy Perry. But he doesn’t put them on TicketSwap – he gives them away via social media to someone who could use a boost.
“These are really cool cards, you almost sit on her lap,” says Lammers in a video on his social media. “But yes, we can’t.” Instead of selling the coveted tickets, the actor wants to make someone else happy with the night out.
Perry, who made the tabloids last week because she had a great time with former Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, will be on stage at the AFAS Dome in Antwerp, formerly known as the Sportpaleis, on Thursday evening. With her tour, the pop star, often dressed in cotton candy colors, visits major European cities such as Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen.
“I’m going to give them away to whoever wants to give them away,” says Lammers with a broad grin. “Do you have a good story why someone should go there? Then I will give you those cards. Nice, right? But it has to be a good story.”
