A shooting in broad daylight on Molenstraat in Oudenbosch on March 15, 2021. It’s been a few years, but the police are still looking for the shooter. That is why they are sharing images of the man again on Monday evening in the Bureau Brabant investigation program. This time he is fully recognizable in the picture, in the hope that someone can identify him.

The images show a black Volkswagen Polo crashing into a gray car, after which three men get out of the black car. They walk towards the other vehicle. The third man, the co-driver, pulls out a gun when he gets out and shoots four times at the gray car that drives away in reverse.

Police know who the two men who did not shoot are, but the identity of the shooter is still unknown.

The driver of the gray car was not injured in the shooting. The event was shocking for the victim, but also for local residents who saw it happen. One of the street residents initially thought it was fireworks, but couldn’t believe her eyes when she looked out her window.

Two days after the shooting, the 29-year-old owner of the dark car from Oud Gastel was arrested. After the shooting, the driver of the car that was shot at reported himself to the police station in Bergen op Zoom. There is no trace of the shooter so far.
