Four dead and three injured in Tenerife after ‘monster waves’ swept tourists into the sea: “They washed away everything in their path”

The number of victims who died on Sunday due to high waves on the Canary Island of Tenerife has risen to four. This was reported by the Spanish public broadcaster RTVE. Tourists were swept into the sea by monstrously large and powerful waves. According to witnesses, they “washed away everything in their path.”
