An aggressive man who was probably considerably under the influence of drugs has been busy in Drunen on Sunday night for a long time. He screamed loudly and woke the neighborhood. The man resisted so violently that a trauma helicopter had to be called to calm him down.
The man was found around four in the morning on the cycle path of the Overlaatweg, near the roundabout with the Statenlaan. His screams caused considerable nuisance. Four agents managed to get the confused and very aggressive man under control.
Trauma helicopter
There was also an ambulance to help him, but because he continued to resist so violently, the man had to be fascinated by the stretcher. That too turned out not to be enough. He continued to work so that it was ultimately decided that a trauma doctor should look at the man. That is why the trauma helicopter was called after about fifty minutes.
Medication
After consultation between the ambulance personnel and the trauma doctor, the man received medication. Only after half an hour did he get a little quieter and could he be taken to the hospital by ambulance. The trauma doctor went along so that he could continue treatment with the man.
