Although the DAX was originally only intended as a supplement to existing indices, over time it developed into one of the strongest competitors and eventually to the Leading index of the German stock market. The following ranking lists all companies that were represented when the German stock index (DAX) was founded on July 1, 1988. The order is alphabetical. The status of the data is June 27th, 2023.
