Found it! This tenant will move into Marskramer’s old building in Dorpsstraat

After years of vacancy, a tenant has finally been found for the building next to the Hoogvliet supermarket in the Dorpsstraat. Physiotherapists Hidde Toet and Mitch Schaefers are moving with their physiotherapy practice Física from Stephensonstraat to the Village. The practice will also have a new name.

In addition to a few treatment rooms, the building will also have a sports room where you can exercise supervised or recreationally.

New name

In recent years there have been all kinds of plans for the space, such as a food plaza for the Hoogvliet supermarket. Entrepreneurs Hidde and Mitch had been looking for another building in Zoetermeer for some time. “Many Zoetermeer residents know us as Física Physiotherapy. We have been treating clients in Zoetermeer for eight years. We want to open the doors of our practice under the name ELEVEN around mid-April,” says Hidde.

Complete metamorphosis

Before they move in, the necessary work must be done on the vacant building at Dorpsstraat 90. “The property owner is having the facade replaced, a new roof and possibly solar panels installed,” says Hidde. The gym will have a rubber floor made from old sports shoes. “We are going to make the waiting area cozy so that it does not look so sterile.”

Do sports and meet people

People with complaints can exercise in the ELEVEN fitness room under the supervision of a physiotherapist. “But people from the neighborhood who want to exercise are also very welcome, according to Hidde. “In addition to the medical aspect, we also want our practice to be a meeting place. Local residents can meet each other, drink coffee and exercise together. We know that older people in particular miss such a place in the city.”
