Fortuna Düsseldorf is already planning the coming season and is signing German U20 international Tim Rossmann in the summer. The attacker comes from league rivals Karlsruher SC, where his contract ends in June. That’s why Rossmann is moving on a free transfer.

“We tried very hard to sign Tim last summer. But the KSC didn’t want to give him up at that point. We are very happy that we were able to convince a great talent to join Fortuna at this early stage for next season,” said board member Klaus Allofs. Sports director Christian Weber added: “By signing Tim on a free transfer, we have managed to attract a great talent with a very exciting profile. He has outstanding athleticism and also has a strong left foot. We will help him quickly get back to his old strength and are sure that we will have a lot of fun with him.”

Rossmann was trained at KSC, where he was promoted to the professional squad in 2022. Since then he has played 19 games and is still waiting for his first goal. Due to injury, the DFB junior has only made four appearances this season – most recently on matchday 4 against Eintracht Braunschweig (2-0).
