Fortuna Düsseldorf presented his fourth newcomer. Luca Raimund comes from VfB Stuttgart to the second division. The association did not say for how long the 20 -year -old winger signed. According to reports, the contract is valid until at least 2028. In addition, a transfer fee is due, which, according to the “picture”, is just below half a million euros and thus at its market value level of 400,000 euros.
Raimund came to three short missions for VfB in the Bundesliga in the 2023/24 season. Several injuries hindered him in his development. In the past season there were only five games in the 3rd division and one with the U19 in the UEFA Youth League.
“We have succeeded in inspiring a very interesting offensive player for Fortuna with Luca, and we are glad that the opportunity for this obligation arose. Luca has not already taken his first steps in the Bundesliga in Stuttgart. We are sure that he is strengthening us in sports and also values for Fortuna,” said Klaus Allofs, Board of Directors, Sport and Communication.
Raimund said: “I am really looking forward to the new task in Düsseldorf. The conversations with those responsible gave me a good feeling. I would like to fully attack, develop myself further and help the team with my style of play. The Fortuna is a great traditional club – I am proud to be part of it now.”
