Formula 1 racing team makes future decision

Year after year, the ten Formula 1 racing teams fight off the track for the greatest young talent. The French Alpine team has now retained a motorsport talent.

Formula 1 racing team Alpine is setting the course for the future: According to the team, young driver Abbi Pulling will also be supported as an academy driver in 2024.

“We are pleased to announce Abbi as our driver with the BWT Alpine F1 Team for the 2024 F1 Academy season. This will be her third season as a member of the Alpine racing family as an Academy driver. She has… “The team has made great progress over time, both on and off the track,” emphasized interim sports director Julian Rouse.

Pulling is “a fantastic example of how the Academy program promotes the development of our drivers and supports them in developing their careers, both as drivers and as people.”

Next opportunity at Alpine: Pulling “grateful” and “honored”

The plan for the 20-year-old: Pulling is to take part in the F1 Academy racing series for the second season in a row with the Rodin Carlin team. She will be supported throughout her season by the Academy program and the entire F1 team.

In a statement from the racing team, the young Brit said she was “very grateful” and “honored” to be able to continue to gain experience in Alpine’s Academy program. “It’s great to be part of the Alpine racing family and to have such incredible access and support from a Formula 1 team,” said Pulling.

In her first season in the F1 Academy series, Abbi Pulling achieved seven podium places, took pole twice and finished fifth overall. She made her debut in British Formula 4 in 2020 and moved to the W Series in mid-2021. It has been part of Alpine’s youth program since March 2022.
