Formula 1 extended contract with traditional race

Formula 1 continues to make the racing calendar of the future. A traditional race can look forward to long -term extension.
Formula 1 will also be guest in Montreal in the coming years. The Treaty for the Grand Prix of Canada was extended by four years – up to and including 2035.
The race has been held on the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve since 1978, and the premiere took place in 1967. The current contract was originally dated until 2029, but the envoys canceled due to the Corona pandemic in 2020 and 2021 were apparently attached to the existing agreement.
“Montreal is an incredible city full of energy and passionate fans, and I am very pleased that we will continue to run here until the 2035 season,” said Formula 1 Managing Director Stefano Domenicali.
The premier class of motorsport had previously announced further long -term contracts. In Miami, for example, it should still be driven until at least 2041.
