His team apparently increases. A former Sky presenter who most recently worked in Switzerland is said to return to Germany, according to a report.
The well -known moderator Laura Wontorra had recently extended her contract with the streaming provider DAZN in the long term. According to “Bild”, the 36-year-old is now getting reinforcements: Sylvia Walker will appear together with her as a reporter on the edge of the field. Both moderators should report from the stadiums and lead interviews with players and experts.
The 43-year-old Walker was previously a permanent member of Sky moderator team, where she had regularly reported on the Bundesliga from 2016. There she interviewed well -known personalities such as Zinédine Zidane, Franz Beckenbauer and Pelé.
In 2022 she moved to Switzerland to Blue Sport. There she was the first German moderator to present live formats for the Super League, Europa League and Champions League.
Born in Saxon, she lives in Munich with her 15-year-old daughter. The enthusiasm for football was given her by her father. She once said the blog “Culture and Cream” that she regularly went to the stadium with him as a child – the atmosphere on the pitch was deeply impressed.
Walker originally started studying law, but decided early. In the blog “Culture and Cream” Walker reported that during an internship she felt that the TV area was just the right thing for her.
According to the “Bild”, however, there is no official confirmation of the supposed commitment at DAZN neither from Walker’s management nor from the streaming provider.
