Former parliamentarian Sint Maarten also convicted on appeal for corruption

In Sint Maarten, former parliamentarian Frans Richardson was sentenced on appeal to twenty months in prison on Tuesday. He will be sentenced for accepting more than $370,000 as a reward for political support for a dredging project in the port of Sint Maarten and for tax fraud.
