According to him, a scenario in which China attacks Taiwan and Russia simultaneously destabilizes Europe could lead to a serious geopolitical crisis. Bauer emphasizes that this cooperation now goes far beyond Ukraine, with joint developments in the fields of nuclear energy, space travel, weapon systems, AI and hypersonic missiles. He states that Russia is becoming increasingly dependent on China, resulting in important decisions being made in Beijing. Bauer warns that Europe and the US are vulnerable, especially due to their heavy dependence on China for medicines and raw materials.
