In more than a month, The Hague will receive dozens of world leaders during the NATO summit. Former mayor Jozias van Aartsen remembers exactly how things were going during the Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) in 2014. “Everything went perfectly – except for a leaking roof.” As a mayor at the time he was at the cradle of the scenario of the NSS. That has now also been partly removed from the cupboard. Jozias van Aartsen (77) is therefore confident that the weather will go completely well.
