A former accounting employee of the VZW Train World has submitted fraudulent invoices for years and thus seized more than a million euros. The facts took place between 2016 and March 2021 and came to light in 2021. The perpetrator, who in the meantime no longer worked for the NMBS, was convicted of criminal law in 2023 and must pay back the damage.
