Former Alsterhaus boss takes over management of KaDeWe

Alexandra Bagehorn takes on the role of General Manager of the Berlin luxury department store KaDeWe in December.

In doing so, she is supporting the current KaDeWe General Manager Timo Weber, who, in addition to his previous role, has also been working as Retail Director of the parent KaDeWe Group since the beginning of the year, confirmed the retail group at the request of FashionUnited, as well as the Hamburg Alsterhaus and the Munich Oberpollinger belong. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on it.

Weber, who has been head of KaDeWe since 2018, is also responsible for the sales management of the other two luxury department stores in his new role and will concentrate on the strategic management of the three locations in the future. In addition, the expansions are also part of his area of ​​responsibility, in which the focus is currently on the new locations in Düsseldorf and Vienna, which are scheduled to open in spring 2025.

Bagehorn returns to the KaDeWe Group

His successor in Berlin was also active for the KaDeWe Group as manager of the Alsterhaus until the end of October and then switched to the pen and jewelery brand Montblanc, where she took over the Northern Europe region as Retail Director. She began her career at the Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf, where she most recently worked as Commercial Director.

Diana Brüssow, who previously held various positions within the group, has been in charge of the Alsterhaus since November.
