The new Mustang maintains the tradition of the double fastback and convertible version, with elements that characterize its identity such as the sculpting of the bonnet and the pronounced rear sides. At the front there is a new splitter, with the side skirts completing the aerodynamic treatment. The rear lights are new, which now feature LED technology.

The convertible version, with the roof closed (the cover can be lowered or raised in 8 seconds), guarantees high level comfort, thanks to the insulating treatment and the complete covering. Inside the passenger compartment there is a dual digital display, a 12.4-inch instrument panel and a 13.2-inch central touch screen oriented towards the driving position. Ford has doubled the computing power of the Sync 4 multimedia system, which dynamically adapts to display the most used functions. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto4 integration is wireless, while 5G connectivity supports music streaming through the B&O audio system and navigation connected to the cloud (downloads traffic updates in real time).

The Mustang is powered by a new 5-liter engine, designed to deliver the performance and responsiveness expected from an American V8. A new intake system with double air intake allows you to maximize the flow of air for a quicker response, while an active exhaust system is able to intervene on sound and volume, reducing noise when driving in contexts urban. The six driving modes intervene to regulate the car’s response in all conditions and guarantee safety and fun. You can select Normal, Sport, Slippery, Drag and Track modes and also customize the settings. The Performance Pack, as standard, restores superior control and involvement on the road or track. Brembo brakes and 19-inch alloy wheels offer performance and precision, while a limited-slip differential ensures the best grip, particularly in corners. The MagneRide adaptive suspension, which is a separate option, checks road conditions a thousand times a second and changes its configuration in real time to optimize dynamic behavior.

Dark Horse is the road base upon which the Mustang motorsports program is built. The Dark Horse Mustang features unique design elements that highlight its performance pedigree, with a large, racing-inspired fixed rear spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser that further elevate aerodynamic performance. The special version of the new 5-liter V8 engine offers more power and can be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission or a Tremec six-speed manual. Suspension developed for the track, high-strength cooling system and specially developed Pirelli tires complete the racing “package”.
