“Uncle Luc Wallays put me on the bike: he was able to convince my parents,” says Jelle.
“He was able to convince his brother and my parents to take up that challenge. It was a dream for him that I could have a career of 15 years as a professional cyclist. That did not work out, next year I would have been a professional cyclist for 15 years. Now the challenge is to honor him and support Kom op tegen Kanker.”
