Sportily, João Félix rarely knew how to convince in recent years. Now he attracted the anger of some fans with an Instagram contribution.
Football star João Félix caused a stir with a controversial contribution on social media. The attacker from the Italian top club AC Milan posted pictures and videos with friends on an fishing trip off the coast of Florida – and now has to face the accusation of cruelty to animals.
On a first photo of the article, the footballer can initially be seen on a boat with two of his companions. In their hands they hold a captured fish. However, this picture did not lead to a sensation, but above all the videos that Félix also published by post.
In a first video recording, the 25-year-old holds a hammer shark on the head with one of his friends. It is not clear whether you want to put the animal on the boat. The predatory fish can free itself and fall back into the sea. The men cheer and clap.

Another clip shows how the group has a hammer shark on the angel. This winds back and forth in the water, tries to loosen from the hook in his mouth – unsuccessfully.
The fans show themselves very upset in the comment column of the article. “What the hell do you do?” Comed a user. When she is asked in another comment what she complains about, she replies: “Probably about cruelty to animals – what you would see if you would use your brain, fanboy.”
Another user wrote to Félix ‘Post: “What the hell? It is more careful for heaven’s sake if you go fishing. Hammer sharks are an endangered species.” In fact, according to the World Natural Protection Union, the types of wing head, arching and large hammer shark are considered “very endangered”. The smooth and small eyes- hammer shark are classified as “endangered”.
Further comments also do not save with criticism of the behavior of the athlete. “Not cool” can be read, for example. “Poor shark … Why do you have to do that?” Writes a user. Another says: “It is embarrassing to post something like that.”
So far, João Félix has not commented on his contribution. The Portuguese is currently still awarded from Chelsea to Milan. Its market value is now only 20 million euros.
The offensive artist was once celebrated as a child prodigy and had reached an interim market value of 100 million euros. Atlético Madrid even transferred a total of 127.2 million euros to Benfica Lisbon in 2019. But after the strong performance in Portugal at the beginning of his career, Félix never knew how to convince. The national player’s contract in London runs until 2031.
