Inter Milan is the first finalist in the Coppa Italia. The “Nerrazurri” defeated local rivals AC Milan 3-0 in the second leg on Tuesday (April 19, 2022) after the first leg ended 0-0.
Lautaro Martinez brought the hosts on in the fourth minute, and shortly before the break the Argentinian international followed up and made it 2-0 (40′). Milan still balanced the game, but Inter impressed with great efficiency.

In the end, the guests had more possession, played more passes and had a better pass rate, shot more often on target, but didn’t have a sense of achievement after the 90 minutes had passed. Instead, Robin Gosens made it 3-0 in the 82nd minute, giving Inter the chance to win the Italian Cup for the first time since the 2010/11 season.
On Wednesday, the second finalist will be determined in the match between Juventus and AC Fiorentina. Juve go into the game with a 1-0 win in the first leg.
