Reyna made the switch in the summer of 2019 New York City F.C To Dortmund. He made his Bundesliga debut on January 18, 2020 at the age of 17 in a 5-3 win in Augsburg.
The game at VfB Stuttgart was only the tenth Bundesliga appearance for the midfielder this season. Reyna made his comeback against Bayer Leverkusen in early February after months of muscular problems. On February 20, he was back in the Bundesliga side’s starting eleven against Borussia Mönchengladbach for the first time since August 2021, but had to be replaced injured in the 30th minute. Hummels and Dahoud also injured
