The West-Flemish Food Bank donates the donated food to 82 affiliated associations that in turn further distribute the food to more than 22,500 beneficiaries in our province. It is striking that more and more OCMWs are opening a distribution point. In total there are 35 in West Flanders, eight of them are recently, including Houthulst and Mesen.
Food Bank West Flanders recently has a campaign with VOKA to make more companies to gave more companies to give surpluses. Ten companies already did this on a regular basis. Newcomers now include Conhexa (bananas), Soubry, Mulder and Warnez. Loyal donors are always Ardo and Westvlees, among others.
