Dave Grohl confirms: The Foo Fighters will give concerts with Queens of the Stone Age in 2026. There’s also a new song coming out.

The Foo Fighters are going on an arena tour with Queens of the Stone Age in 2026. The concert series begins in August in Toronto, Canada, and ends in September in Las Vegas.

Editorial recommendations

The rock band from Seattle last played a major tour in 2023/2024. For the next twelve shows they have brought in Queens of the Stone Age as support, who will be on stage at almost all dates.

It will be Foo Fighters’ first stadium tour since their “Everything or Nothing at All” tour from 2023 to 2024. It follows their recent string of surprise concerts in US clubs as well as arena shows abroad.

“Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded why we love and are forever committed to this Foo Fighters cause,” Dave Grohl said in a press statement.

“From reuniting as a band and looking at a list of songs spanning 30 years that we wanted to revive, to recomposing versions with the incredible support of the one and only Ilan Rubin on drums, to reconnecting with our amazing fans to whom we give everything we have – regardless of the size of the venue – because without them we wouldn’t be here: we have the most solid core. And finally the sun is setting Horizon opens,” he continued.

New song “Asking for a Friend”

Just in time for the tour announcement, the Foo Fighters have released the new song “Asking for a Friend”. The piece is “a song for everyone who waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith that their horizon would emerge,” Grohl said, according to “Consequence of Sound.” “Looking for evidence while holding on to a wish until the sun shines again.”
