Anna Nusse and Isa Jouwsma of the Bloemteam Terra Emmen VO will compete for the Dutch championship on March 23 during the professional competition Skills The Finals. They were the winning team of the regional final yesterday. They competed against the team of Terra Oldekerk and the team of Terra Meppel. The participants each had to make a hand-tied bouquet and a heart shape full of flowers.
“The six participating girls from the three different locations have achieved a great performance. A sporting challenge in which each team worked very well together and had a lot of fun with each other. One group worked very precisely and in detail, while the other group worked out the technique better. the paint came,” said the jury consisting of flower teachers Arjan Oosting and Agnes Vijfschaft.
“Participating in this is very instructive for our students,” says Marieke Kaper, Terra Skills Coordinator. “We therefore encourage our students to participate. For the fourth grade students, it is good preparation for the final exams that will soon be upon us.”
Skills Talents are team competitions for final year VMBO students. Participating students get a stage here to show their talents. The assignments that the students perform during the competitions have been developed by teachers and are therefore in line with the curriculum. A professional jury from the professional field assesses.
