In the statement made by the Jordanian Prime Ministry, it was announced that, upon the instruction of Prime Minister Cafer Hassan, the start of work in official offices on the national team’s match days was determined as 10:00 instead of 08:00.
Accordingly, due to the first round matches in the group stage, working hours will start at 10.00 in official institutions in Jordan on 17, 23 and 28 June.
In the statement, it was noted that the decision was taken to ensure that Jordanian citizens can watch the matches of their national teams, which will appear in the FIFA World Cup for the first time.
Jordan will compete with Argentina, Algeria and Austria in Group J of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The national team will complete its preparations for the tournament with a friendly match against Colombia on June 7 at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California, USA. After this match, the Jordan team will move to the official World Cup camp center in Portland.
