Flake releases his second Christmas album: “Flake celebrates Christmas again”. Only registered Rammstein fans can enjoy a signed LP.

With “Flake celebrates Christmas again”. Christian Lorenz alias Flake releases his second Christmas carol album with more or less funny cover versions. However, it is unclear whether the Rammstein keyboardist calls himself “Flake” (pronounced in English like “snowflake”) for the sake of the occasion.

In an Instagram video, Flake shows himself with an umbrella (don’t you only use that when it rains?) and with a rubber snowman on his hand.

“The pre-sale of 500 signed copies of ‘Flake celebrates Christmas again’ is now starting exclusively for the next 24 hours for LIFAD members in the @rammsteinshop!” writes the self-proclaimed “keyfucker”. This shows loyalty to his actual band, as one might assume that Flake would mainly sell signed records via his own homepage.

There is also an offer on his own website: “The album can now also be pre-ordered as a white 10″ vinyl at flake- Feiert-weihnachten.de!”

Flake also points out that all profits from album sales go to the Arche Children’s Foundation.

Flake’s fans on Instagram are reacting to the campaign with joy – mostly. A fan complains about the recording format. “Yay, I’m really happy❤️But: Why not on CD this time?” Another writes that it is difficult to even get hold of a long-playing record with the Rammsteiner’s autograph: “I clicked on pay and Zack is no longer available 😢”

The fundraising campaign gets thumbs up: “The album sweetened the Christmas season last year. 🎄 I hope that there will also be such brilliant videos for this record. 🔥🤘 It’s also nice that the profits will be donated to the Arche again. Thank you ♥️ “
