New York rapper Fivio Foreign released his debut album BIBLE last Friday. The record was produced by Kanye West aka Ye. If you listen carefully, you can fathom Fivio Foreign’s very personal life story, accompanied by feelings of joy, triumph and pain. Hear and see his current music video for his single “Magic City”:

The Brooklyn-born rapper spent a year working on his album. He raps in the flow of the growing New York drill movement. His 17-track record BIBLE features an impressive roster of guest acts. Featuring A$AP Rocky, Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, Lil Tjay, Yung Bleu, Chloe Bailey, Quavo, Coi Leray, Lil Yachty, Queen Naija, Blueface, Ne-Yo, Vory, Polo G and KayCyy. His track “City of Gods (feat. Ye & Alicia Keys)” recently peaked at number 46 on the Billboard charts.

Personal stories and experiences play a big part on Fivio Foreign’s album. Of BIBLE he said: “The Bible name is like a metaphor, the real Bible is like a whole bunch of stories and you apply them to your life – whatever is going on in your life. My album is called BIBLE because it’s my stories. I want people to listen to the music, record the stories, and use them in their lives in whatever way they can.”
