The incident took place around 10.45 pm on the 2nd Binnestgracht. After the ticket was issued, according to the police, a grim atmosphere arose and a group of men used violence against agents. The police officers were also impeded in their work and the men did not keep up when they were told that they had to leave.
The agents use their feet, pepper spray and power surge weapon. The five, men aged 36, 57, 60, 61 from Leiden and a 33-year-old man who is not registered in the Netherlands, was arrested for, among other things, insult, threat and mistreatment of an official.
