It was 3:20 a.m. when the second victim of the chainsaw killer was admitted to the Marzahn Accident Hospital. The man had been found at the scene 30 minutes earlier with serious injuries to his face and both arms.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Eisenschenk says: “The right hand and the entire left arm of the man showed serious injuries.”

The operation, which had to be carried out by five surgical teams, lasted nine hours, as the surgeon explains. At the same time, Clarissa Precht, a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery, took care of the facial injuries.

The 52-year-old federal police officer then came to the clinic’s intensive care unit “in a still critical condition”. The confirmed clinic spokeswoman Angela Kijewski on Friday afternoon when asked by the BZ.
