Third victory in a row for the leaders who go +4 over their pursuers. A brace for Sané, the other goals from Guerreiro, Kane and Gnabry
A domain. From start to finish. Bayern Munich wins their third Bundesliga match in a row and moves back up to +4 on second-placed Leverkusen. Against Hofffenheim the Bavarians won 5-0, but ended the match in the first few minutes. The goals were scored by Sané (7′ and 48′), Guerreiro (12′), Kane (26′ from a penalty) and Gnabry (66′). In the next round the league leaders will host Wofsburg. In the last five games played, Bayern have scored five goals on three occasions.
the race
—
Kompany lines up their team with the usual 4-2-3-1, with Sané, Müller and Coman behind Kane. The Bavarians didn’t even need to loosen up their muscles before taking the lead. In the 7th minute, on the counterattack, Sané, served by Müller, scored with a powerful left foot which he also managed to send into the corner. In the 12th minute, an exchange between Guerreiro and Kane was enough to free the Portuguese to shoot and set the result at 2-0. Bayern continues to create: Davis tries in the 20th minute (shot deflected for a corner), while Kane’s initiative, in the 26th minute, is stopped by Akpoguma’s hand. For VAR it’s a penalty and the Englishman scores a hat trick.
the recovery

Bayern didn’t change their attitude even in the second half, continuing to raise and lower the pace as they pleased. In the 48th minute it was Sané who scored the 4-0: Tel saw the overlap of Sané, who this time with a soft touch, beat Baumann for the 4-0. But it’s not over yet: in the 66th minute Guerreiro serves Davies at the near post, Gendrey moves away as best he can but passes the ball to Gnabry who has no problem scoring again. Hoffenheim only showed up in attack after the 70th minute, but Bayern also controlled the last 20 minutes with extreme serenity. It ends with yet another goal in the last month for Bayern, which consolidates their lead. And it appears to be in excellent condition.
