Fiskars strengthens its responsibility by preparing all coating and baking dish coatings nowadays. The coatings of all Finnish Fiskars’ coke and baking dishes are now 100 % plastic-free. This is part of Fiskars’s commitment to sustainable product development and reduction of environmental load. PFAS compounds are synthetic chemicals that are commonly used in non-stick coatings. These so -called “eternal chemicals” are problematic because they are poorly disintegrated in nature, which can lead to their accumulation in the soil, water and air.
