Fishermen not obliged to bring fished waste ashore
37 of the Flemish fishermen are already participating in Fishing for Litter, a project in which they are motivated to fish waste from the sea. Last year they brought 65 tons of waste ashore for recycling. However, according to the minister, this obligation is not self-evident.
