Fenerbahçe’s new transfer, Alexander Djiku, said that he came to the yellow-dark blue team to win trophies.
After the signing ceremony, new transfer Alexander Djiku, board member Selahattin Baki and sporting director Mario Branco made statements to the club television.
Stating that he was very happy with his transfer to Fenerbahçe, Djiku said, “Turkey’s biggest club Fenerbahçe. I came here to win trophies. I hope we will start to win all trophies with this season.”

Fenerbahçe Club Member of the Board of Directors, Selahattin Baki, stated that they have added a high-level defender to their squad.
Expressing his thanks to the sporting director Mario Branco, Baki said, “Good luck. We are happy. I thank our sporting director Mario Branco and his assistant Okan Özkan. They have worked day and night for a few days. He is 28 years old. He is a top defender. He is at the top level of France. He played 220-odd matches. We added a good football value that has made a name in Europe as well. Mario Branco worked hard and finished the transfer.”
